Dolomites: The Alpine Paradise for Slow Travel

Hi! We are Holly & Safak. To us, the Dolomites are the crown jewel of the Alps. We’re here to help you skip the rush of the ‘Instagram spots’ and discover the meditative rhythm of the high-altitude trails. About us →
Stoney mountain peaks, green valleys with rustic villages, and a unique mix of cultures that’s as captivating as the landscape itself. Welcome to the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled in Italy’s Northern region. While we used to travel to the Swiss Alps for hiking, the Dolomites have, without a doubt, become our absolute favorite. This region of the Alps offers everything we love so much: mountains, beautiful nature, a fascinating mix of Italian and German languages and traditions, incredible food and genuinely warm, welcoming people. We’ve been drawn back here four summers in a row, finding it the perfect stopover on our way south or a refreshing escape when the Italian beaches get too hot in Summer. For us, summer in the Dolomites means slowing down while hiking amidst stunning scenery.
