We’ve always been curious about the world. Ever since we were young, we โ Safak and I โ have loved exploring new places, both near and far. Whether it’s the vibrant street life of a foreign city, discovering new hiking paths, exploring new restaurants in our hometown, or simply getting lost in the pages of a atlas, the thrill of discovery has always been a big motivation for us.
Perhaps it was our shared love for geography that revealed this passion. Maps and globes weren’t just tools for study; they were like doorways to other worlds, filled with endless discoveries.
While our careers took us into the fast-paced world of technology, the call of the open road never faded. Travel became our balance to the corporate life, a way to reconnect with ourselves and nurture our shared love for exploration.

In 2011, our daughter Ela joined our adventures, and our world expanded even further. Traveling with a child forced us to stop rushing. It taught us that the most impactful memories aren’t the ones we checked off a list; theyโre the ones we took the time to digest.
We traded the corporate “sprints” for a slower rhythm. We swapped crowded bucket lists for three-hour lunches in hidden piazzas and quiet walks through mountain villages at dawn. We realized that the only “Fear of Missing Out” worth having is the fear of missing the authentic, local moments that make a journey life-changing.
As the Turkish saying goes, โรok gezen mi bilir, รงok okuyan mฤฑ?โ โ who knows more, the one who travels or the one who reads?
Today, FOMO Traveller is our way of sharing that education with you. We use our tech-honed eye for detail to find the hidden gems and map out the perfect routes, so you can stop worrying about the logistics and start finding the soul of every journey.
